Bridal Shower.

So, I'm planning a Bridal Shower. I know, it's very weird. :o) It's for my friend Lexi, whose wedding is in three weeks. She rocks. I've known her for about two years, and used to drive her to church when her car was broken (the engine caught on fire). Whenever I dropped her home, we'd talk for hours. She was the first one I told about my crush on my husband. And I went to school with her fiance, so I've known him for about five or six years.

Anyway, the point of the whole story is, I'm planning a Bridal Shower! The internet, as we know, is a wealth of information, so I have found lots of cool games that we can play. Hopefully it all goes well. Two of her bridesmaids (one of which was my bridesmaid too) are helping me out, so it should go smoothly. I only hope that we can give Lexi the party that she deserves - one that leaves her with many, many fond memories, and that shows her how much we love her.

Meanwhile, my marriage is going well, thanks for asking! I love spending my life with my husband. He's my best friend, and he's so extremely wonderful. Yay! :o)

I can't wait until Christmas! My second love language is 'receiving gifts', so Christmas makes me feel very loved. That love language isn't as selfish as it sounds, by the way. I'd much rather receive something from the heart that has little monetary value, than something elaborate and expensive that has no thought behind it. When my husband and I were 'just friends' (he was secretly in love with me, and I was openly in love with him), he bought me a 'Nerdalicious' lolly, which costs about $1. He knew how much I loved them, so when he was at a petrol station and saw them, he thought of me, and gave me one as a gift. That meant so much to me, I almost cried.

I am yearning for 'Elf' at the moment. I want to see it again, Oh So Badly. My mum just saw it, and loved it. As any sane person would. 'Elf' and 'The Fighting Temptations' are my favourite movies. I think I may be getting 'The Fighting Temptations' on DVD for Christmas, but I'm not entirely sure. You never can tell, you know... unless the gift-giver tells you. But even then, they could be lying.

Our church moved into a new building! We own this building, instead of paying rent. This Sunday morning just gone was our first service there, and it was such an awesome celebration. I was extremely honoured to be a backup singer for the service. Our music directors went against the roster, and chose different singers and musicians. So I was chosen! All of the other backup singers were ones who are worship leaders, either at church or youth! So I was in very elite company. That is amazing. :o)

I think that's about it, you know. I'm done. :o)
